Travel and Visa

Participants from all countries can reach to Samarkand by airplane, as well as by train and bus from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

The students will be picked up at the airport, railway, and bus stations. Also, options to reach the conference venue from airport and railway station: M1 and M3 city bus from Samarkand international airport to university boulevard; city bus route number 73, 35, 22 from railway station to the university boulevard. From the bus station city bus route number 31, 60 from bus station to the university boulevard. Costs of the bus and taxi is 2000 UZS and 30 000 UZS respectively.

Citizens of 90 countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Switzerland and Tajikistan can enter Uzbekistan with visa-free regime for 30-60 days. Acceptance and invitation letters will be sent to those participants who need them for visa applications.
